Centennial Rotary Foundation
Mission Statement
The Centennial Rotary Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization established by the Rotary Club of Centennial, Inc. for the purpose of financing the good works of the Club.
The Foundation provides financial support to charitable, civic, cultural, educational, and scientific causes sponsored by the Rotary Club of Centennial, Inc. and its members. Donations to the Foundation go directly to support these causes and expand our impact in the community and around the world. The Foundation operates on an administrative budget of less than 1% of total assets.
What We Support
Through our Community fundraising projects and the generosity of our members and friends, the Centennial Rotary Foundation works to fund:
- Local community service projects
- Youth and education initiatives
- Support for families and individuals in need
- Health, cultural, and scientific programs
- Selected international service projects
Each year, the Foundation coordinates with the Rotary Club of Centennial to identify needs and award grants that align with Rotary’s areas of focus and our club’s priorities.

The Board of Trustees provides oversight of Foundation assets, reviews grant requests, and ensures that funds are used in a manner consistent with our mission and Rotary’s values. Trustees are elected in an open election by the Foundation Members. Trustees serve staggered three year terms.
Source of Funds
The Rotary Club of Centennial hosts five main fundraising events each year raising nearly $50,000. These include the Mayor's State of Our City luncheon each May, beverage booths at Centennial Under the Stars and Sip in Centennial, the popular Palisade Peach & Pear Sale in August, and a new annual Pickleball Tournament in late January. Every dollar earned goes back into programs that strengthen the community, whether through youth support, education, or global outreach.
Direct gifts to the Centennial Rotary Foundation, Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and help us expand the reach of our club’s mission. Our EIN number is 84-1590061. Ways to give include:
- One-time or recurring gifts from members and friends of the club
- Memorial or honorary gifts recognizing loved ones
- Matching gifts from employers
- Legacy gifts and bequests
