Brent’s Place is a long-term home away from home for families of pediatric and adult patients undergoing treatment for life-threatening illnesses at leading hospitals in the Denver Metro area. Sean Meyerhoffer is their CEO. Donn and Linda Eley founded the Brent Eley Foundation in 1997 to honor their son, Brent, who bravely fought Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. After Brent’s passing, their grief sparked a “Big Idea”: to create a safe haven for families traveling far from home for cancer treatment – a place to stay together during their journey. That Big Idea became Brent’s Place and, since then, they have supported more than 2,000 families from across the nation.
